“Winner” (July 2023)

What does it mean to win? 

A mixed media comic challenging the definition of "winning" based on my own experiences. This comic reintroduces the "Star Child" character as seen in my previous work titled "Hidden Love". As I illustrated this piece, I worked to emphasize the symbol of a "star" through stickers, pointed geometric shapes, and shiny textures.
