“Trans-scription”, Queerbook 2024 Contest Entry (September 2023)

Illustration submission for Queerbook 2024 contest hosted by https://itgetsbetter.org/. 

Using the transgender flag and musical symbolism, such as jazz improvisation, "Trans-cription" is a response on an "ideal LGBTQ+ utopia" in my eyes, which is to live authentically to the song of my life, and ultimately rewrite the path that has been previously set for me.
